Father Kubicki was the keynote speaker at Pro-Life Wisconsin's Spring Awards Dinner in DePere, WI on Saturday.  His speech, "The Soul of America," illustrated the progression of abortion in the United States.  The event was attended by over a hundred pro-life activists from all over the state.

Referring to his speech as a "call to action," Father Kubicki compared the relative inactivity in the face of abortion to a similar reaction to Naziism.  He also pointed out the fact that the Supreme Court has not always been correct in its interpretation of the Constitution.  He emphasized a need to return to the basis of the Declaration of Independence, which appeals to "the Laws of Nature" and "Nature's God."

During the dinner, Carrie and Joel Jensen received the Activists of the Year Award for their participation in the Chicago Marathon.  The Jensens' pledges were used by Pro-Life Wisconsin to fund a new television ad campaign in selected Wisconsin markets.

State Representative Mark Gundrum received the Legislator of the Year award for his opposition to AB 377 (the Chemical Abortion Hospital Mandate).  Rep. Gundrum is currently in Iraq serving as a judge advocate.
